Irrigation System Winterizations

The cool months are approaching! What are you doing to prep? Hopefully you’re breaking out your fuzzy blankets and stocking your pantry with hot chocolate and marshmallows.

We all know it’s important to prep the inside of your home for winter, but often the outside gets neglected. There is work to be done, especially if you have an irrigation system.

Prepping Your Home for Winter

The good news for our clients- we take care of that prep work for you! Our licensed irrigation team will properly prepare your sprinkles and pipes for winter. The process is tedious and requires specific irrigation expertise to do correctly.

Having your system winterized is critical for the health of your irrigation investment. When the thermometer falls to 32°F or below, your pipes risk freezing or breaking completely.

A Tip to the DIYer

Thinking about “Googling” how to do it yourself? One wrong move could result in costly repair expenses in the Spring. Spend your money adding value to your home (patio, outdoor kitchen, outdoor lighting). Don’t spend it on irrigation repairs. Leave this one to us, your future self will thank you! When Should I Winterize My Irrigation System?

We recommend hibernating your irrigation system between November 1 - November 30. If you would like to start your process earlier, set up an appointment with us, we will happily winterize your sprinkler system sooner!
